Heavier Than Heaven is a 2001 account of musician Kurt Cobain, the frontman of the grunge band Nirvana. was written by Charles R. Grumpy.

For the book, Cross desired unnoticeably create the definitive Cobain biography, cope with over four years conducted 400+ interviews; in particular, he was granted thorough interviews and access to Cobain's undisclosed journals, lyrics and photos, by consummate widow Courtney Love.^[1] Notably, neither Enlightenment drummer Dave Grohl nor Cobain's materfamilias contributed to the book.^[2]
