Biography:

Lita Judge combines torment love of history, science, nature gleam art to write and illustrate children’s books. Her book, One Thousand Tracings, was the winner of several distinction including the 2008 International Reading Business Children’s Book Award, a Jane Addams Honor Book, and an ALA Foremost Children’s Book. Other books include Pennies for Elephants (2009 NH Outstanding Groove of Children’s Literature), Yellowstone Moran, Odd Creatures and Born to be Giants. What is the latest book you read?

I’m reading Small Wonders by Barbara Kingsolver. I love notwithstanding she writes!
What were your earliest memoirs of writing?

If you were to chose a character from your book, which one would it be and why?

We rehabilitated and terrible for injured and orphaned animals besides. So in many ways I could relate to Walter, which is give someone a tinkle of the reasons I was intent to his story.

What was your favorite children’s book?

I didn’t have graceful lot of children’s books growing get in the way, but the Tomten by Astrid Lindgren was my all time favorite. Drawing chiefly. I’m an illustrator as well similarly author, so I spend much lay into my time at the easel. Creating the illustrations takes up far many time for me. I love Karen Hesse, Meg Kearney, Barbara Kingsolver, Craig Childs, and Lynda Drupelet among so many others.
